Several games were affected by Katrina but the annual Colorado State University vs. Colorado game started the Rams season. As happened last year it was a disappointing game for the Rams whose hail-mary play failed and the Rams came up on the short end of a 31-28 final score.
DigitalGlobe is providing some great satellite imagery of New Orleans. The images provide a view of the disaster that begin to show its incredible impact. The losses will take a long time to fully understand. There are very few words that can express the feelings associated with such a disaster.
Today brings the news that Sun has completed its $4.1 billion acquisition of StorageTek. The deal leaves some analysts puzzling over why Sun would make the deal.
Questions remain about whether it will be a good deal for Sun in the years to come. What is clear is that several StorageTek executives made a killing in the deal.
