I don't really understand the purpose in cancelling flights for security reasons. It seems that the recent spate of cancellations serve to provide potential terrorists with an understanding of how good or bad our intelligence is. The terrorists are being successful in impacting our daily lives. It would seem that if you have good intelligence about a plot that one's best bet would be to equip the plane to handle it. Put air marshals, or their foreign equivalents on the plane, triple check the baggage, take the cargo off the flight. Perhaps airlines should start cargo swapping. I'm not sure when it happened, but HPS has released Stella and iThink for OS X. I downloaded the demo of iThink. It has some bugs and quirks, (forward delete doesn't work, and another I can't recall at the moment). But it runs in OS X (10.3) nicely. It must be time to upgrade!
Over the years I've had more than my share of computer games. Most get played for a bit and then retired quickly. Our Playstation 2 is far more of a DVD player than a consistently used game system. However, whenever a new SSX game comes out it deserves attention. SSX 3 came out last fall and we got a copy for Christmas. It's even better than the last versions. The impossible uber tricks are even more impossible and impressive. The best elements of the old Winter Games are incorporated with players earning cash to purchase accessories or new tricks. Gallery installation and iPhoto integrationMatt Raible has great things to say about Gallery. He asks about .mac import/export. It is possible at least to some extent by telling Gallery to upload a URL. If you have the URL of your album on .mac you can have it upload the URL to Gallery. Not perfect and there are several of the ancillary graphics that you have to make sure are unchecked.
I was looking for documentation on which memory slot is which in the white (flat screen) iMac. System profiler doesn't really say other than DIMM0/J12 and DIMM1/J13. Since one is not user accessible and one is it seems that the internal slot might be 0 and the external 1. Alas it appears that it is the opposite. DIMM0/J12 is the SO-DIMM PC100-2225 ram that users can access and upgrade.
